Villa Vanda

Just a 10 minutes drive from Tivoli allows you to reach San Pastore, a heavenly location, one of  the most beautiful places you have ever been to. This holiday house, Villa Vanda, is located on a hill top where olive, fig and cranberry trees have grown spontaneously throughout the years. Neatly mowed lawns surround this quiet and peaceful paradise and Tivoli’s greatest sites are just around the corner.  “I Monti Lucretili”, “Villa d’Este”, “Villa Adriana”, “Villa Gregoriana”, the relaxing thermal waters,  the breath taking churches and the extraordinary temples are easily reachable and allow excursions, relaxing walks and even hiking!

The house

Villa Vanda has two independent entrances and many parking places. The house is big enough to guest up to five people. It is composed by a bedroom furnished with a king size bed, a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds, a big living/dining room where a fifth person can sleep on a comfortable pull out bed, 2 bathrooms with a shower each, a fully equipped kitchen and a smaller living room with a fire place. It is furnished with heating, hot water, a fridge, a TV, a washing machine, hair drier, cleaning appliances  and microwave.

Outdoor you can enjoy your meals underneath a 30 mt² porch  equipped with tables, chairs and a barbecue. Or else, you can just relax in the breeze enjoying a spectacular view on the centenary trees coming up from a stream that flows a few meters away.

The Villa is available for small outdoor celebrations like birthday parties, baptisms, etc. Prices and planning to be arranged.

Terms and Conditions

- The price includes: bed covers (sheets, one big towel, a medium towel and a small towel), heavy blankets, weekly change of bed sheets and towels.

- The price does not include: final cleaning and gas consumption (only for winter).

- Check in: the keys will be delivered between 3 pm and 8 pm.

- Check out: you are requested to leave the house by 10 am.

When you receive the keys you must:

-         Pay the remaining amount of money for your stay.

-         Turn in 250€ for the caution deposit,

-         Pay 30€ for the final cleanings

If you cancel your reservation, the 50% that you paid (as indicated in “Prices”) will not be given back to you.

Final cleaning

At time of arrival you will have to pay 30€* for the final cleaning up of the house. 

*At the end of your stay you are asked to leave the house in neat conditions including washed pots and pans and removed trash. If the owner finds excessive dirt or pots and dishes left unclean, then he will detract 50% of the caution deposit.

Cautional deposit

When you arrive you will be asked for a 250€ deposit that will be given back to you at the end of your stay if the house is in good conditions.

Method of payment

The 50% of the total price has to be turned in on reservation. Method of payment: Western Union Money transfer or bank transfer (+5% for expenses) or by postal order. The payment has to be done within 3 days from reservation.

The rest of the money will be given at arrival.

No checks, only cash!

How to reach us

Villa Vanda is reachable by car.

From Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino) (approximately 1 hour drive)

Exit the airport and take the highway towards ROMA. Follow straight until you reach the Grande Raccordo Anulare. Take the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) towards L’Aquila – Teramo (A24). Exit at Uscita 14 (L’Aquila Teramo – Pescara). Follow straight on until you reach TIVOLI Exit. Exit there and follow the directions for Tivoli.

From TIVOLI (10 minutes drive):

As soon as you arrive to Tivoli, reach Villa Gregoriana’s entrance and follow the directions for Marcellina Palombara. After 5,5km you will notice on your left a white sign “Villa Vanda” and a black and yellow sign that says “Chiesa di San Pastore XII-XIII secolo”. Take Strada di San Pastore and, after the railway underpass, keep right for 30 mtrs. Turn right on the first crossing (you’ll notice another white sign “Villa Vanda” and a red and white bar with “strada private procedure adagio” written on it). Go straight ahead until you reach Villa Vanda.
